❤️ Thank you! – Beautiful Code #50
When I started Beautiful Code, I wasn’t sure how long I’d keep it going — or if anyone would even be interested. Right now, there are 61 of us here. I don’t know if that’s a lot or a little, and honestly, I don’t mind.
Hey! It’s Marc 👋
If you're new here, let me quickly explain what Beautiful Code is all about. 👇
What can I expect from Beautiful Code?

Today you’re receiving issue #50 of the newsletter!
When I started Beautiful Code, I wasn’t sure how long I’d keep it going — or if anyone would even be interested. Right now, there are 61 of us here. I don’t know if that’s a lot or a little, and honestly, I don’t mind. What matters to me is that if you’re reading this, it means you find value in what I share each week. And that’s exactly what keeps me motivated to keep searching for new content that I think might help or inspire you.
The newsletter helps me, too. I’ve discovered libraries and code snippets that I’ve used in client projects — and even in some of my own. Curating cool websites every week keeps my mind open. It helps when I’m designing something new, especially when I’m reading the brief for an upcoming project. It’s like going to the gym — it’s training for the real thing, whether it’s design or development.
In your own way, I think Beautiful Code does something similar for you — and I’m really happy you’re still here ❤️
So, here’s this week’s selection. I hope you enjoy it!
Before you continue I want to remind you that you can support Beautiful Code buying me a coffee ☕️ I love good coffee! 😍

🔨 Tools & Resources
1. Embla Carousel
Embla Carousel is a lightweight, dependency-free JavaScript/TypeScript library for creating fluid, touch‑friendly carousels with high swipe precision. It’s framework-agnostic (usable with React, Vue, Svelte, etc.), extensible through plugins, and offers rich control over layout and motion.
2. Mediabunny
Mediabunny is a JavaScript/TypeScript media toolkit that lets you read, write, and convert audio and video files directly in the browser. It provides low‑level control over media data—metadata, frames, codecs, formats—while staying lightweight and dependency‑free. It’s designed for web apps that need more control than a simple <video>
tag.
3. CrawlerCheck
CrawlerCheck is a free, lightweight tool that lets you instantly check if major crawlers—like Googlebot, Bingbot, and AI bots such as ChatGPT or Claude—are able to access a given URL. It inspects your robots.txt
, meta robots tags, and HTTP headers to identify any blocks or permissions.
