🔨 Tools & Resources

1. Readme.so

Readme.so is an intuitive, web-based editor that makes creating project README files effortless. With a drag-and-drop interface, you can pick from a variety of pre-built sections, edit their content, and rearrange them via drag-and-drop. The editor also offers a real-time preview of your Markdown, and allows you to download the final README.md ready to use. It’s fast, easy to use, and perfect for quickly generating clean, well-structured documentation.

2. EmbedPDF

EmbedPDF is an open-source, MIT-licensed JavaScript PDF viewer that you can seamlessly embed into any web project—whether you're using React, Vue, Svelte, or just plain JavaScript.

It delivers fast, high-fidelity PDF rendering thanks to the PDFium engine compiled to WebAssembly, meaning it’s both powerful and efficient . The viewer is also highly customizable—with support for themes, annotations, search, redaction, and more via a comprehensive API .

Getting started is quick—just drop in a container and initialize the viewer with two lines of code. It’s framework-agnostic, dependency-free, and avoids vendor lock-in, making it a solid choice for developers seeking flexibility, speed, and open-source control.

3. Howler.js

Howler.js is a lightweight (≈7KB gzipped) JavaScript audio library that simplifies working with sound in web applications. It uses the Web Audio API, with a fallback to HTML5 Audio, ensuring compatibility across all browsers and platforms—including IE9 and hybrid apps like Cordova.

With a unified API, Howler.js handles everything from playback controls (play, pause, seek), looping, fading, and volume adjustments, to powerful features like audio sprites—segments of a single audio file defined for efficient playback—and support for spatial (3D) audio. It auto-caches loaded sounds for better performance, supports a wide range of codecs (MP3, OGG, WAV, WEBM, FLAC, and more), and is entirely dependency-free.

Overall, Howler.js offers a robust, cross-platform solution for building rich audio experiences—from games to music apps—while abstracting away browser inconsistencies and simplifying the Web Audio API.
