This week, I’ve got a gift for you! Well… it’s not technically from me — it’s from GSAP and Webflow!

As a die-hard GSAP fan (and I know I’m not the only one here), I couldn’t be happier. The absolute best animation library on the web is now completely free for everyone — yes, even the premium plugins like ScrollSmoother, MorphSVG, SplitText… all of it!

This magic happened thanks to Webflow, who acquired GreenSock and decided to give a huge gift to the creative community: unlocking the full power of GSAP for free.

If you already loved GSAP, now you’ve got one more reason to use it in every single project. And if you’ve never tried it… this is your sign to dive in and fall in love.

Before we continue I want to remind you that you can support Beautiful Code buying me a coffee ☕️ I love good coffee! 😍

🔨 Tools & Resources

1. Bekuto 3D

Bekuto3D is a free, browser-based tool that converts SVG files into 3D models, allowing users to export them in formats like STL, OBJ, or GLTF. This makes it suitable for 3D printing, web development, and digital fabrication. The application is designed to be user-friendly and requires no installation—just open it in a modern browser with JavaScript enabled.

2. CursorFul

Cursorful is a free browser extension that helps you create high-quality screen recordings with automatic zooms and pans based on your cursor movements. It’s perfect for making tutorials, product demos, and walkthroughs directly from your browser. The tool supports Chrome, Edge, and Brave on macOS, Windows, and Linux, and includes options to customize zoom effects, hide browser UI, choose backgrounds, and export in different formats. All processing happens locally for privacy, and a Pro version unlocks extras like 4K exports, webcam recording, and more.

3. Open Meteo

Open-Meteo is a free, open-source weather API that provides global forecasts without requiring an API key or registration. It offers hourly data on temperature, wind, precipitation, humidity, and more, with high-resolution forecasts powered by official weather models like NOAA and Météo-France. The API also includes access to over 80 years of historical weather data, making it useful for research, climate studies, and machine learning. Data is served in JSON and is easy to integrate into apps or websites. It’s free for non-commercial use, with paid plans available for higher usage or commercial projects.
